Four-day Shettara Santhe begins in Shivamogga

A four-day Shettara Santhe, a cultural festival organised by Arya Vysya Snehitara Balaga, was inaugurated at Allama Prabhu Park in Shivamogga on April 2. The event includes the exhibition-cum-sale of home-made products unique to the Arya Vysya community, and a music programme by well-known singers. The exhibition has over 125 stalls, and many feature food items, including snacks, sweets, and spices. Legislators D.S. Arun, S.N. Channabasappa, Dhananjay Sarji, and others participated in the inauguration of the event. The inaugural ceremony was followed by a music programme — titled Panchama Veda – Premada Nada.
